Every familiar name was once spoken for the first time.

Some songs begin with a melody. Others begin with a moment, a story, or someone who changes everything. “RIANEVA” is more than just a song to me. It carries a unique name and transforms a deeply personal story into music.
The song brings together my musical roots and my work today as Crelorio Stroblinsky, blending elements of rock, pop and modern electronic music. What started as a personal idea has grown into a musical project that is now beginning its journey into the world.
“RIANEVA” is already available through FM4, where listeners can discover the song and request it. At the same time, the track is currently being distributed through a music label and will soon become available internationally on major music and streaming platforms, including Spotify, YouTube Music and Amazon Music.
This marks the beginning of another journey for RIANEVA: from a deeply personal origin to radio, Spotify, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, and ultimately to listeners around the world.
RIANEVA is a name. A story. And now, a song.

Together, these stories can show how a name begins to travel across families, countries, languages and generations.
What began as one family’s struggle over the spelling of a given name has developed into a public discussion reaching beyond Austria.

Rianeva Viktoria is the name we chose for our daughter long before her birth.
For our family, Rianeva is not two separate names. It is one complete given name with its own identity, sound and personal meaning.
The competent registry office raised concerns because Rianeva had not previously been sufficiently established as a given name. According to published media reports, the spelling “Ria-Neva” would have been accepted, while the family wishes to preserve the name in its intended form: Rianeva.
A linguistic assessment obtained from the Gesellschaft für deutsche Sprache supported the given-name character of Rianeva and considered the closed spelling linguistically defensible.
This led to a larger question:
If a name is considered insufficiently established today, what happens when families around the world genuinely begin to choose and use it?
A name cannot travel on its own.
It travels when people speak it, share it, remember it and tell others the story behind it.
Follow the Rianeva Challenge on social media and help the story reach families across countries, languages and cultures.
You do not need to choose the name yourself to share the story. Sometimes one share is enough for Rianeva to reach the family for whom the name truly belongs.
Today, thousands of names feel completely familiar. But none of them began that way. Every name was once spoken for the first time. Written for the first time. Chosen for the first time. And registered for the first time.
We do not know where the journey of Rianeva will lead. But perhaps we are witnessing its first chapter.
